Mother Nature’s Stress Relief Tea 

You can go around listening to fire engine-sounding children or you can do something about it. By something, I mean internally self-loving for your innocent child. Mother nature always has what the dirt body needs. The dirt body needs nutrients, not ingredients. Man makes ingredients in labs so we are going to stay away from that stuff on this self-love internal healing journey.

Herbs were created to heal the body not harm it but we do have to be careful where we are getting it from. Once again, if you are not growing something yourself do not trust man and do your research. This recipe is kid friendly but always speak with your physician first as herbs and medications sometimes do not mix. 

Stress Relief Blend Ingredients:

Lemon Balm because it works by increasing GABA levels in the brain. This is a mood-regulating hormone that stops brain cells from becoming overexcited because it does not take much. Over-excitement can come from electronic devices, sugar, being in an overpopulated location, etc Low levels lead to mental health in both adults as well as children.

Catnip because it contains nepetalactone acid compounds which reduce nervousness, anxiousness, and restlessness. This also saves brain cells from overstimulation.

Quality water because we are making a medication so you want it to be as less toxic as possible so I use distilled water.

Date sugar This is the only sugar I found that does not cause additional hyperactivity or kill off brain cells so I only use date sugar to sweeten this tea.

Stress Relief Blend Preparation Directions: Add ½ tsp of catnip herb to a tea bag. Put ½ tsp of catnip herb and place to the side. Add 16 oz of quality water to a non-toxic pot. Boil for 5 minutes with catnip loose-leaf tea herbs then add the herbs you added to your tea bag. Boil another 15 minutes then strain. Add in your dehydrated lemon balm, and your date sugar; stir well. Place it in the freezer for about 10 minutes and I pray your child enjoys it just as much as I love the health benefits.

Optional: Add in ginger, cinnamon, or lemon for added health benefits
