What is a detox bath?
A detox bath is a way to remove harmful toxins from the pores and bloodstream. Depending on how toxic your lifestyle is will be the determining factor as to how many detox baths you should take weekly.
Many of the toxins we are exposed to on a daily basis cause so much internal damage, we just can’t see it physically.
For example pumping gasoline creates a thick coating of toxicity on your cells. We don’t even realize its happening!
How do detox baths work?
A detox bath is meant to open up the pores in the skin to allow the natural ingredients in the detox solution to do their job. You have to use hot water but not so hot it burns you! As hot as your body can tolerate would be the acceptable temperature. You want to allow your pores to open up enough so tiny water molecules can get through. When you use the correct ingredients they act as a magnet pulling toxins out of the body.
What to expect when taking a detox bath
After soaking in the tub for about 15-20 minutes you may feel a little light-headed. This is normal depending on the number of toxins that were pulled from the body. Lay down until it passes and drink plenty of water. After routinely taking these baths you will begin to understand your body’s toxic load intake and the amount of time you need to spend detoxing.
